Hey, even Wonder Woman has to drive sometimes.
Auto industry supplier TRW has put a transparent car on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The acrylic sedan was built as showcase for the company's safety technology, which is usually well-hidden behind body panels.
Visible through the skin are the various airbags, sensors, steering and braking systems that contribute to active safety and autonomous driving capability.
Unfortunately the "driver" in this particular photo forgot to put on her seatbelt, which can be seen snaking its way through the roof pillar and is able to cinch itself tight in the event of an impending collision.
One safety feature TRW failed to mention, however, is the elimination of blind spots around the car, although we're guessing this particular vehicle won't be "seeing" production anytime soon.
