On Tuesday, The Village Voice threw its 6th annual Choice Eats event with over 50 restaurants hand-picked by Village Voice food critics Robert Sietsema and Tejal Rao. This event showcases New York as a culinary mecca, but also aims to introduce foodies to some of the city's hidden gems.  And even better, a portion of ticket sales to the sold out event is going to the organization Slow Food NYC.
