The latest model dressed by Carhartt is a car.
The Detroit-based work clothes company has teamed up with Chrysler on a special version of the automaker's 200 S.
The limited edition $28,870 sedan features an interior upholstered in water resistant fabric selected by Carhartt and finished with the company's signature triple stitching. Diesel gray accents and black painted trim round out the exclusive interior upgrades.
On the outside, mesh grille inserts, platinum chrome trim and black 18-inch wheels lend the 200 S a tougher look than the one you picked up at Enterprise last week.
A rear spoiler and sporty valance panel with built in exhaust tips hint at the performance tuned suspension and 283 hp V6 under the hood.
The 200 S is the latest collaboration between the two Detroit icons. Carhartt also produces a line of clothing using Chrysler's "Imported from Detroit" advertising slogan.
But unlike Carhartt's classic twill jackets, the special 200 S is a limited edition, with only 2,000 being produced.
It makes its public debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show.
